Series 1 Cats

Once upon a time, there were two of us. A big part of building a life together was our shared love of cats and our special devotion to the aid and rescue of feral cats and kittens in particular. Over the next 22 years, we rescued and placed almost a hundred cats and kittens-- including the ones we wound up keeping.

Ten years ago I lost her to ovarian cancer and it has become increasingly difficult to maintain rescue efforts. Then I realized that the answer lay in the hundreds of pictures that we took of all those cats over the years. What I've done is to take original photographs and manipulate them until I feel I've captured the artistic zenith of the piece. .... And that's what makes them truly unique-- that my bond with these special babies shines through.

Just one note of qualification--While all the photos are original, there are a few that don't fit the catagories, but were, rather, ones we encountered in our journey.You can find out who's who on the cat stories pages.

Making A Difference

So, what makes my site different from every other commercial imagry site? My determination to make a difference in the lives of feral cats through my artistry. At the end of each year, I will make a donation of a portion of my profits to Friends of Feral Felines, a very worthy local rescue group that traps, spays and releases to help reduce feral populations.

I dream of cats

  on summer days.

eyes keen and

      tails high.

flashes of color

       poses of zen.

  soft fur and

     rough kisses.

I dream of cats

    on winter nights

  warm lumps

    filled with purrs

pressing tightly

   into my stomach.

my sleep is content.

   I dream of cats.

Here you will find original, quality greeting cards and prints produced personally. The cat's name appears on the back of each card and their stories can be found on the site. Best of all, I also offer custom work. Send me your favorite photograph and I'll give you 4 different renderings from which to choose, then you can get prints or greeting cards made especially for you-- and, no, they won't be reprinted for anyone else.
